Exploring the Art of Sculpture Across Diverse Materials

For over five decades, I have devoted my artistic practice to exploring the possibilities of sculpture through a wide range of materials. My work is rooted in the belief that each material brings its own unique qualities to a piece, influencing its form, texture, and impact. Whether I am working with metal, stone, wood, or more unconventional mediums, I approach each project with a deep respect for the material's inherent characteristics. This allows me to create sculptures that not only express my artistic vision but also resonate with the material's natural beauty and strength.
Throughout my career, I have crafted pieces that vary greatly in scale, from intimate gallery works to large public installations. My ability to work across different scales is closely tied to my understanding of how different materials behave and interact within a given space. Each sculpture is a thoughtful exploration of these relationships, designed to engage viewers and invite them to consider the interplay between the material, the form, and the surrounding environment. By mastering the use of various materials, I am able to push the boundaries of what sculpture can be, creating works that are both visually compelling and deeply meaningful.
